Yeah I always look at that generation and think I would buy that one with the good package. SO many hipsters in SF with the new TRD loaded with shit and a roof tent.

“Toyotas will last forever” - unless you own a 2008 Sienna, in which case your power steering pump will leak along with your rear main seal and steering rack, all by the time you hit 215,000 km.

Yes, I'm slightly bitter.

They’ll last forever, whether or not they’re drivable is open to debate

I thought 4runners had high used prices, like most Toyota trucks. I thought beat up examples from the 90s commanded 5k

My mother in law has a 250,00 miles Sienna that has been reliable as hell. It even survived a Walmart oil change where they used an impact to tighter the drain plug. Which resulted in all the oil falling out over night.

They drove it nearly 10 miles with maybe a quart of oil. That was 30,000 miles ago.

Hi! Welcome to Colorado! We’d like $12k USD for your 250k mike V8 Sport 4Runner. Yes, still cheaper than new, but they got a smoking deal by CO standards.

I was really bummed when my neighbor traded in their V8 4Runner a few months ago. I had hoped to put  an offer on it. I imagine they got hosed on a trade in.
